Letters to God: A Short Series
Letters to God: I
You fill the empty crevices
life has punctured into my heart.
You, light, spills through
pours in so much warmth
I find I am full.
My cup overflowing
my soul singing
taking flight to the sky.
Letters to God: II
I think of you in the wake
of the milk-faced moon,
the lily flowers blooming
in eloquent shades of delight,
the soft rain breathing life
and bleeding deep green upon the land.
In the wave of your hand,
the gift of your presence
is an ocean waveof calm,
of encouragement.
I can bear anything
with you in my heart.
Letters to God: III
I find solace in your presence.
My constant companion,
the flower of my heart.
I rest all hope in you.
Letters to God: IV
Open palms
bleeding heart
lowered head.
I love and I love and I love.
I praise and I praise and I praise.
I will not stop
for you are worthy
for you are worthy.
